Angie takes part in writing about sports teams and events through a couple of forums. She currently writes for the NHL-news website called The Hockey Writers as the Washington Capitals correspondent. Angie appears for other sports news and opinion sites, such as Bleacher Report and Sports By You. She also has been writing on her own sports blog, Crashing the Net, since August of 2009 at crashingthenet1.blogspot.com.

Initiated April 23, 2009 via Sigma Pi undergrad chapter (American University). Angie currently serves the chapter as the Public Relations Secretary and Historian.

Personal
Even though she was born and raised in Washington, DC, Angie is of West-Indian heritage. Aside from classes and sorority activities, she remains involved in sports. Most notably, her favorite sport is ice hockey, and has been a long-time fan of the team she currently covers; the Washington Capitals. The rest of  Angie’s time is spent doing portraits, and playing her bass and acoustic guitars.
