This program was presented by the Penn State Student Black Caucus, NPHC, and the NAACP. In this headline, it is incorrectly stated that the program was run only by NPHC and NAACP, Penn State Chapter.

To correct the headline stated above, this program was just one of the programs that the Penn State Student Black Caucus provided as apart of our "Black History Week" of events at Penn State to commemorate Black History Month and what it represents in the community.

The Black Caucus' primary goal in orchestrating Black History is to provide educational awareness on black history being apart of our lives everyday, as opposed to the more general idea that it is a celebration of our past.

The purpose of Black Caucus is to enhance the Black experience at Penn State through the development of a unified Black community addressing issues pertinent to those students and the university as a whole. As a result, this is what we sought to accomplish by bringing these three organizations together for program Beyond Black History, and ultimately Black History Month.
