Delta Sigma Theta Charters Sandhiills Alumnae Chapter in North Carolina

The Sandhills Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. was chartered in Pinehurst, Wednesday, April 8.

Regional Director Linda Richardson Wilson and Mary Sutton, past regional director, conducted the chartering ceremony. Juanita Blackwell Massenburg, North Carolina state coordinator was also in attendance.

There were ­approximately 50 at this ­historical event representing the following chapters: Alumnae — Bennettsville (S.C.); Charlotte, Durham, Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Greensboro, Johnston County, Laurinburg, Lumberton, Raleigh, Rocky Mount; Collegiate — Omicron Nu (UNC-P)

The Sandhills Alumnae Chapter’s charter members are residents of Lee and Moore counties.
