AKA Soror Gloria Browne-Marshall Named Wiley College’s Woman of Excellence in Law

Wiley College, in Marshall, TX, honored Alpha Kappa Alpha Gloria J. Browne-Marshall with the 2011 Woman of Excellence in Law award. AKA Soror Gloria J. Browne-Marshall is a Professor of Constitutional Law at John Jay College in New York City, author of the best-selling book ”Race, Law, and American Society: 1607 to Present” and “The U.S. Constitution: An African-American Context,” a playwright, and former Civil Rights Attorney for the NAACP and Southern Poverty Law Center.
