Byron L. Cherry, Sr., Ph.D., President, Chief Executive Officer of Succeed to Lead, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in financial management.

With 27 years of professional experience, Dr. Cherry specializes in financial management and analysis and strategic planning. He is responsible for corporate, strategic and business planning, financial management oversight, and corporate business outreach. Succeed to Lead, LLC provides business, logistics and information technology consultations. After serving in the military and gaining experience working in the financial management field, Dr. Cherry decided to establish his own business. He attributes his success to his faith in God and to the support he receives from wife.

Dr. Cherry received his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in 2004, his Master’s of National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University and a Master of Business Administration from Troy University and Bachelor’s in Accounting from Norfolk State University. He is a Life Member of The Rocks, Inc., the Finance Corps Association and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He is also a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) and the National Defense University Foundation. He was inducted into the Norfolk State University Military Alumni Association Hall of Fame in 2008 and received the Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award from Norfolk State University in 2007. In the coming years, he intends to develop his business to a national level and network with larger companies.
