Admissions and Records Officer
The Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Public Health seeks an Admissions and Records Officer. This position oversees and coordinates the Divisionís admissions cycle, including, but not limited to, evaluating and screening transcripts of applicants to Divisionís programs; maintains student records and databases for admissions, matriculation and alumni; serves as the Divisional representative and resource for all program applicants and prospective students; schedules appointments and meets with program applicants on a consistent basis; prepares ad hoc reports for academic program management and evaluation including registration, admissions and recruitment reports; and supports the academic needs of faculty and the Division.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. Any combination totaling five (5) years from the following categories:
* work experience involving collegiate admissions, records analysis or records management
* college coursework in any discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
I. 60 semester hours equals one year
II. 90 semester hours equals two years
III. 120 semester hours or a Bachelorís degree equals three years
1. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
2. Working knowledge of Banner applications and Business Objects
3. Interpersonal / customer service skills per communication with applicants, students, and faculty
4. Advanced knowledge of collegiate admissions, records analysis, or records management
5. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
