Kappa Frater, KaStacieon Clark Passes
Besides from being an illustrious member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, a Spring 2000 initiate. KaStacieon Clark was a genuine talented spirit from Lufkin, TX. During his years at Huston-Tillotson University, he can be remembered as a real charmer, a people’s person. From being an outstanding leader on campus and throughout the community, Clark was indeed a role model. His talent was immaculate and was seen by all. When Staci opened his mouth to sing, it was an angelic presence you felt. Upon graduating Huston-Tillotson University, Staci continue to pursue his dream of becoming professional singer and saw some length and success at his craft, gracing the stages here in Austin, Texas, Atlanta and around the country. He went on to release his EP album Love At First sight and was well on his way musically, then tragedy struck September 15, 2015 when all else seized, his life coming to an end.
Break one’s heart, break one’s bones, in fact your words and sticks do affect people. Mental state, mental imagery, your actions have a lasting effect on a person psychosis. Hidden emotions, hidden fears, distrust, and failures we all have them and endlessly switch from mask to mask to try to hide them. Depicting a person in out, dissecting their essence until they are mere atoms and particles to the point where he or she yearn to disappear is what we sometimes do consciously or unconsciously to those we say matter to us the most. Love now and not wait until thereafter to show an individual what unconditional love is about, expressing what he or she means to you.
Heavy heart and unexpected sorrow and grief have fallen up the Clark family, the Gamma Lambda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, and Houston-Tillotson University due to the loss of our beloved brother and friend Kastacieon Clark. Staci as we knew him was a remarkable and talented human being. Always having a kind, compassionate, and encouraging word for those he came in touch with. Staci was taken from us way too soon before we could see him self-actualized into the captain and master he was destined to be. Your knowledge, wisdom, and essence in which you shared with us with are for ever embedded in the memory and legacy we will have of you. We say thank you Staci for sharing your life with us and all the memories you provided along the way. Love you brother, friend Nupe, and Phi Nu Pi until we all reach that Golden Shore.
Your legacy will forever live on and the great music you made forever be heard. We sincerely appreciate your talent and grace, if it was not said enough by those that love you while we are here. You will dearly be missed by all those who call your their friend and love one’s. Let your angelic voice sing loudly and profoundly as you did here, while you are there. Rest in Peace Staci.
