Omega Frater Roosevelt Council, Jr. selected as Atlanta Budget and Fiscal Policy Chief
Roosevelt Council Jr, son of the late Roosevelt and Hattie Council of Clarksdale, has been recently selected as the Budget and Fiscal Policy Chief for the City of Atlanta under the leadership of Mayor Shirley Franklin. In this position, Council is responsible for developing and maintaining budgets for all city government entities.
Council recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for the State of Georgia’s Technology Authority.
Council is a 1973 graduate of Clarksdale High School, Memphis State University and Harvard University Executive Leadership Program. He is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
