Delta Soror Ash-Lee Henderson to be featured in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges

Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson, a native of Chattanooga and now a resident of Johnson City, is the student recipient of ETSU’s Patricia E. Robertson Diversity Leadership Award. A senior majoring in English and minoring in African and African American Studies, she is president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, chair of the ETSU Student Government Association Student Affairs Committee, a national coordinating committee member of the United Students Against Sweatshops, and a national council member of the Student Environmental Action Coalition. Her other affiliations include membership in Mountain Justice and the ETSU organizations Initiative for Clean Energy, Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, Progressive Student Alliance, LGBTies, Black Affairs Association, and the Race Relations Dialogue Taskforce.
She is also a member of Chattanooga’s Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents are Tamara Woodard of Ooltewah and Rev. LeRoy Henderson Jr. of Valdosta, Ga., and she is engaged to Jared Story, son of Jerry and Nancy Story of Jonesborough.
