Final 3 MSU players plead guilty in dorm altercation with Iota Phi Theta

Michigan State football players Oren Wilson, Chris L. Rucker and Myles White each pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery charges today as part of a plea agreement in connection with a Nov. 22 altercation on campus.
Wilson, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and battery before Judge David L. Jordon at 54-B District Court. A misdemeanor conspiracy to commit assault and battery charge was dropped.
Wilson, a nose tackle, told the judge he punched one person and kicked another during an altercation at Rather Hall during a potluck dinner held by Iota Phi Theta fraternity.
Rucker, 21, and White, 19, each pleaded guilty to one count of assault and battery, and each had one count of conspiracy to commit assault and battery dropped. Rucker, a cornerback, admitted in court he attempted to kick someone and missed. He will be sentenced March 19.
White, a wide receiver, will be sentenced March 22.
The assault charge carries a maximum 93-day jail term.
This brings the total to 11 current and former MSU football players who have pleaded guilty in connection with the altercation. No other players faced charges, though MSU police identified four other players who were present at the dormitory during the altercation.
• Former MSU running back Glenn Winston, 20, pleaded guilty Feb. 18 to assault and battery and conspiracy to commit assault and battery. He also pleaded guilty to a violation of his parole. Another count of assault and battery was dropped in exchange for his plea. He is scheduled for sentencing March 22. He was dismissed from the team Nov. 24.
• Former MSU safety Roderick Jenrette, 22, pleaded guilty Feb. 11 to an amended count of aggravated assault and one count of assault and battery. One count of assault and battery and one conspiracy count were dropped. In court, he admitted to punching someone in the jaw and laying hands on another person without provocation. He is scheduled for sentencing March 19. He was dismissed from the team Nov. 24.
