Kenneth White appointed as Midwest Regional Polaris of Iota Phi Theta

20th International Grand Polaris Karl Price has appointed Kenneth L. White as the Midwest Regional Polaris.

White, 50, currently the region’s Assistant Regional Polaris, will assume the post effective immediately.

White joined the organization in 1997 at Eta Omega (Chicago) and became the chapter’s Vice-Polaris in 1998 and 1999. He co-founded Alpha Sigma Omega (Northwest Indiana), then served two-terms as chapter Polaris.

White represented the Midwest Region on the 2009 national election committee. Along with his ARP duties, White also serves as Alpha Sigma Omega’s Community Service Chairman and is the region’s Training and Development Coordinator.

Professionally, White is a therapist for a private child welfare agency and a social service consultant in Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in applied behavioral science from National-Louis University and a Master of Science degree in nonprofit management from Spertus College.

“I am delighted to hold the position as the Midwest Regional Polaris,” he said. “One of my goals with my new position is to strengthen our brotherhood in honoring our Founders by ‘Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One.’”
