Economic wisdom: the Stone Mountain-Decatur Sigmas provide quality service

With knowledge, comes wisdom; with economic wisdom, individual and collective and empowerment can take place.

From this mantra, the Stone Mountain-Decatur Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, inc. is presenting its Economic Wisdom Workshop series.  Their next installment takes place on Wednesday,June 23rd, from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Roy Yancey Sr. Public Library (47 Cleveland Ave in Atlanta).

Attendees clearly can benefit from this ongoing chapter series and initiative, as they are scheduled to learn about multiple topics and issues that can impact one’s economic stability and standing.  Credit restoration, home-ownership, and general financial literacy (i.e. understanding of essential terms, topics, and concepts) are the main focal points of the upcoming workshop.  In addition, multiple financial planners and advisors are available to provide further instruction and hands-on learning opportunities to better immerse the public with the tools and skill sets needed to enhance their financial awareness.

With the event being free and open to the public, the members of the chapter clearly focus on providing programs which can provide a positive impact on the lives of others.  Be it on an individual or collective basis, the information that is provided clearly can impart knowledge, action, and wisdom in augmenting the economic stability of those in the community in which the chapter serves.

Knowledge is wisdom, and from wisdom comes empowerment.  Based on this ongoing series, the Stone Mountain-Decatur Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. understands and applies this concept and ideal.
