Sigma Gamma Rho Soror Marion Longmeyer, dies at 87

Marion Cecile Eddington Longmeyer, a retired teacher for New Orleans Public Schools and a homemaker, passed away on February 16, 2010 at 87 years of age. Mrs. Longmeyer leaves behind to celebrate her life: two sons, seven grandsons, three granddaughters, sixteen great- grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

All past and present employees of New Orleans Public Schools, Sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho, (Omicron) members of New Orleans Creole Fiesta Assoc., and the O.G.G.’s Social Club are invited. Visitation will be at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., on February 25th, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. with mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, La. Funeral Services by Duplain W. Rhodes Funeral Home.
