Zeta Soror Monica Fortune named director of admissions for Lincoln College-Normal

Monica Fortune was selected as director of admissions for Lincoln College-Normal. In this role, she will supervise all student recruitment for the campus including community college transfers, associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs including the online bachelor’s degree completion program, and enrollment at Midwest College of Cosmetology.
She began her duties on Aug. 4.
Prior to the appointment, Fortune held a variety of roles related to recruiting, including working as the university talent acquisition manager at Baker Hughes, Inc in Houston, the associate director of MBA admissions and diversity at The University of Texas at Austin, and the associate director of undergraduate education at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In addition to her role at Lincoln College-Normal, Fortune is active in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
